The right time

How much time has passed in recent times?
How much time I've lost... How I regret it,
but I won't let it be in vain!
I take it and turn it into a lesson
to remind myself that there's no time to lose
for things that come from the heart.
How much longer will we spend chasing
empty things that deep down we know don't satisfy us?

The years go by and my search only grows.
I still don't know what my mission is, but I know I'm close.
Every day, God hears my prayer.

How long has it been since you started chasing?
Not just achieving, but LIVING your dream?
Every single day, waking up and being sharp.
Time seems sufficient, but in reality,
it slips through our fingers slowly
and no, it doesn't turn back.

My time is up, but I just came to remind you
that you know what makes your heart beat.
Don't wait another second for the right time to come.
Live your dream in whatever way,
because when you're gone, that's what they'll remember.
